So I haven't actually existed for a while, I'm rather aware of that. I lost my interest in simming / lost 80% of my downloads (including projects) / just haven't had time. Very, very slowly I have been regathering my downloads (which is actually sort of fun) and my desire to sim again has been building.

I've signed up for "Christmas in July" and have been working on a number of object projects for a sim I've been working on. I've also completed a request over @ GOS. It's just nine simple hue colours of the 'Munak Dress'. The sim sporting a Pooklet'd hair (the very orange one with a fringe), is a hair that I've found and am retexturing as well.

I'm also considering starting a new simspage. I have no idea why I want to, just for some reason I want something brand new /:

So yeah, I had a weird dream the other night. It involved a post I read at GOS that somewhat annoyed me (the fact is featured in my dream suggests it annoyed me a lot more then I realised!). The post in question was this, OK, so it's nothing major or really drama worthy I know. But still... it was in my dream for crying out loud. Anyway in said dream this was the description for a contest and all the GOSlings were jumping on it ranting about what an amazing idea it was and how they couldn't wait to have a try. Yeah, Ok, I'm a little weird (I promise not as weird as I seem though!).

Haha, annnnnnnnnyway! I finished AC2 today on the PS3 (although I've only got 91% for my trophy collection in it, need to start cramming!) and was thinking about how much I'd love to see some of it in the Sims. I thought these were pretty sweet (maybe I should do some recolours ?) and of course Daislia's weapon pack.

EDIT: Now I've found a new set by Daislia (here) and it is pretty damn amazing! Outfits, weapons, hood etc. It's wonderful.

Oh & behind the cut is a "I see what you did there" (/not very flattering) picture of me and my cat because he makes brilliant faces.

Yeah, wasn't kidding when I said it wasn't flattering, but I love the face my cat is pulling so up it goes! Just to keep things all together and if for some reason you're curious here are some photos that I've posted at GOS / other forums in the last few months ( here | here | here ) that are suppose to be at least somewhat flattering (just so you know that I don't always look so dorky xD).

P.S Yes, they are hammocks under my eyes!

Just a quick note, I've made some retextures of a MTsims "wig" available [ Pooklet's natural colours + white] here. I'll be uploading them here properly when I get a chance. They take the form of long hair extensions that start at the ears and run over the sim's chest. Mesh included [ + renamed so you actually know what it is ]. There's a picture in that post as well (:

In other news, I got my university offer [for sport science] and have accepted it, so I'm officially going to university! I do however, have all intention of changing it to Policing in the next round of offers [ early Feb! ].

Also, 18th tonight. THEME: Childhood cartoons. I've decided to attend as the Mad Hatter from Alice In Wonderland. Although when you get right down to it there isn't a huge amount of similarity between mine & any of the costumes, but I'm sure it's enough to imply I'm the Mad Hatter. Really, I just wanted to wear a giant top hat. A friend suggested to carry around teacups which I thought was a nice touch. I'll be drinking out of them all night (:

Your life could use improving greatly. I just wanted to know what's going on, but everything that goes is going wrong.


If anyone has noticed that updates seem to be getting further & further apart lately, it's because January is a very busy month for me [ & this year promises to be a very busy year ]. I've still got two 18th's to go, possibly a third, Australia day celebrations [ a good ol' BBQ with my mates of course! ], my sister's birthday, a job to find and university offers to receive. Therefore simming isn't exactly the first thing on my mind. Not to mention, I'm still prone to bouts of "My life sucks" after my relationship of two years crashed & burnt into nothingness late last year [ although, I am very much aware that my life really doesn't suck, I'm pretty damn well off, I just like to wallow in self pity ] and fending off a 15 year old boy who claims to have a major crush on me [ family friend of a friend, met at their house, added me on facebook ] and compliments my "awesome side fringe" whenever he talks to me. Thankfully, I think he's given up mostly however every so often he decides to have one more crack at me. I don't have the heart to tell him to GTFO, so I just act blatantly uninterested and pretend I don't realise he's trying to hit on me.

 It just about killed me to copy paste that without editing any of his spelling and what not. Not gonna post name or anything of the like, because I'd feel to bad for the kid. But I have to admit, it does give me the giggles. It makes me wish I had kept the conversation with some random kid on an old MSN account who flew into a rage because I didn't want to see a picture of him which according to him obviously meant that I was ugly and hideous etc.

Working on a piece of writing at the moment, it follows two brothers Nashton & Jasper Bones. I'd like to sim them, so you might get spammed with photo's of -

AND, there is a postman on my driveway receiving first aid. I must go and investigate this D: - waddles off - Errr, Ok, he has been knocked by a car. Although it seems he's just got a few grazes etc, mother & neighbours are dealing with him.

EDIT: In regards to Mr.Postman, apparently he was riding his bike along and since it's really, really windy here a huge gust of wind blew sticks etc into his face. He lost his concentration and came off his bike however his leg got stuck between the bike stand and something and cut up his leg a bit + bruised his ribs + a few grazes etc. Went into shock and that. Ambulance came and took him away now though, so he'll be alright. The car was more dramatic s:

I'm not actually dead, I promise... well, maybe I'm a little bit dead, but that's besides the point.

Moving on to something more relative, Merry Christmas or "Happy Festivus" whatever you would like to call it. I've been busy with relatives etc, hence my seemingly deadness.

As for Secret Santa at GOS, rome_raven has posted the gifts I have given them here. I'll probably post them up here sometime when I get the chance. My Secret Santa was unicorngurl180 and her present was amazing [ medieval dress recolours, bird house recolours, medieval sim pictures etc ]. I am definitly going to share, because it is so insanely awesome, although I'm gonna have a little play myself first and take some pictures to send to my wonder SS (: Then I will post my own little pictures and the download link here. Happy, happy, happy.

In non christmas / sim related mood, Avatar and Zombieland were very enjoyable. Yes, I totally kept my Avatar 3D glasses. Now I'm off to go play with my new camera!

Firstly, I checked an older post [L4D & Tomb Raider Ground Covers] and I couldn't see a download link so I added one. Go here. Of course, I may have missed it because I'm capped and thing take 50 years to load.

In other news, I GOT MY ATAR. I GOT 84.15! HECK YES YES YES! Not only can I get into any of the courses I wanted, but I managed to pleasantly surprise myself [ I was expecting 70 at max ]. Man, nothing can ruin today.  University here I come!

Necromunchy over at GOS requested a few recolours of a dining set and I filled the request. It includes multiple recolours of a chair / table / cabinet / sideboard in plain and blue / green woods. I'll upload it to here at a later point because at the moment I'm capped. You can find the request and details here.

So yeah, as I said - capped. I HATE IT. Seriously, it drives me nuts. In other news, my major exam results are coming in real soon. I wasn't nervous until someone asked if I was, and now I'm ready to die. Also if potential employers tell you that they're going to call you on a specific date, don't believe them. It means they'll never call. Mailing off another application today. Hopefully that'll go better.

Also searching for something that actually really works to reduce / obliterate eye bags. I don't need to take grocery bags to the shops anymore, I just carry things in my eye bags. They double as hammocks too.

When browsing around for some textures to use in my Secret Santa project, I came across 258 Damask Patterns. I just thought I'd throw out a link in case someone finds them handy. The first two download links didn't work for me, I ended up using the 'depositfiles' one. The ones I've had a look at seem to be seamless for tiling.



And heck yes, I brought myself two Watchmen shirts ($15 for them and another shirt all up). Happy, happy, happy.

Due to moving on Wednesday (18th), our computer needs to be packed sometime tomorrow aka NO MORE INTERWEBS. Then due to the fact we are getting a new modem etc we will not have internet access for a few days after the move (it may be longer if there are problems). I just thought I would let everyone know in case someone posts a question or comment etc and think I'm being rude but not replying. It's probably not likely to happen, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

To whom it may not concern,
As my cleverly selected mood indicating thingy-ma-bob suggests, I am awfully disappointed. After seeing the add for "The Big Aussie Swap Party" on television I rushed to my dear computer it hopes of locating one near me. Unfortunately I failed in my task hence the disappointment. If anyone actually reads this, and they just so happen to be Australian and they just so happen to attend a swap thing, they should definitely tell me what it was like.

In other news, apparently I need to fork over $150 to get my First Aid certificate renewed. The only thing I'll be giving first aid after I my parent's pay that is my their wallet. It is however essential since I need it for my university course (If I say it on Dreamwidth they have to let me in, right ?).

I'd also like to take this special time to tell my cat that just because you can see the birds sitting on the window overhangy-thing outside the window, does not mean that you can in fact pass through the fly screen, no matter how many times you try. It's just not going to work, I'm sorry.
